Cape Umbrellas was established in 1999 whereby we specialise in the manufacture and
supply
of Patio Umbrellas to the
Corporate,
Local and Export market.
We pride ourselves in the extensive range of upmarket Patio Umbrellas, with all our umbrellas manufactured locally.
This gives us
the pleasure of creating and maintaining a working force of over 140 employees and we have been awarded
the
‘Proudly South African’ label.
We have been supplying various ‘Brands’ with their umbrella requirements for marketing and advertising purposes and offer
a
unique range especially catered
for this.
Due to our attention to detail and value for money, in 2004 we started supplying the local Retail Market such as Massmart Group (Builders Warehouse), Super Group (Mica), Agri (Pty) Ltd,
Built It and various other independents. The retail side of our business operates under the brand name Xtreme Shade and has shown growth at a steady pace with brand recognition growing fast.
Having over 10 years of experience and exposure to the industry, both local and export, we are able to distinguish ourselves as
